Dr Kaesehagen graduated in 1970 from the University of Adelaide, and has worked much of her professional life in General Practice (Country and City including 2015-2017 at Erindale Surgery), apart from 10 years in Emergency Medicine, and 2 recent years working with homeless young people for Uniting Communities. She has enjoyed achieving good outcomes for patients who have acute medical problems, and especially likes to focus on prevention and helping motivate people to take charge of lifestyle factors that contribute to chronic health problems. "Healthy mind in a healthy body" is important at all life stages, and Dr Kaesehagen feels good to be able to coordinate a multi-disciplinary approach to this end.
