Dr Van Der Veer graduated in 1986 from the University of Pretoria, South Africa. He has a fellowship of both Australian GP colleges. (FRACGP and FACRRM). Dr Van Der Veer is a procedural GP and has post graduate qualifications in education and Health Service Management. He is currently the Principal Supervisor at Seymour street for GP registrars. Dr Van Der Veer has in interest in Orthopaedics, Paediatrics, Obstetrics Emergency Medicine and skin Cancer. He has a Skin Cancer clinic on Wednesdays for skin examination and a Wednesday afternoon session for skin procedures. Dr Van der Veer teaches emergency medicine for ACRRM and is a Lead Instructor on the REST course. He also serves on the Standard and Development Committee of ACRRM for this course.
