Dr Lovesey obtained a Bachelor of Arts at the University of Sydney in 2008, majoring in philosophy. She completed her medical degree at the University of Notre Dame, Fremantle in 2012. Dr Lovesey completed her hospital training in Wollongong. She also holds a certificate in sexual and reproductive health. She is currently training for a fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Her interests include preventing and managing chronic health issues, women's health, mental health, dermatology and the diversity of general practice issues.
