Dr Megan Kelly is a local GP and mother of two who is known for her ability to connect with patients. Megan grew up in Brisbane where she completed a Bachelor of Biomedical Science and a Masters Of Clinical Physiology before moving to the Gold Coast to complete her degree in Medicine and Surgery.
After graduating in 2010 Meg married Dr Peter Barry (another member of the Tweed Health team). Megan worked as a medical registrar at Gold Coast University Hospital for several years before having her children and making the decision to become a GP. Megan has been practicing at Robina and Bundall for the past few years where she attained her fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
Megan works extensively with local IVF specialists and surgeons in her role as a surgical assistant.
As a mother and a GP Megan particularly enjoys pediatrics and antenatal care. She has extensive experience in and enjoys working with mental health, aged care and palliative care.
In her spare time Megan enjoys spending time with her family and socializing with friends.
