Matthew worked as physiotherapist on the Gold Coast for seven years before attending Sydney University where he completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery in 2007. In 2010, Matthew went on to complete his Diploma of Child Health through Westmead Children’s Hospital while working in Tweed Hospitals Children’s ward. Matthew has since worked as a rural GP in Northern NSW (Murwillumbah & Byron Bay) before joining Tweed Health for Everyone in 2013.  A fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners and Medical Officer for the Quicksilver Pro since 2008, Matthew is currently undertaking further studies in skin cancer medicine with the Australasian Skin Cancer College. Born and raised in Adelaide, Matthew relocated to the Gold Coast 15 years ago where he now lives with his wife Samantha, three year old son Charlie and one year old twin girls Lily and Evie. He enjoys surfing and spending time with his family.
