Dr Matthew Akpo completed his studies at the University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus, in 1998. He has been working as a GP since 2000 and in this time has gained skills and experience in health systems management, having undertaken a Master of Public Health degree in South Africa. He has been practising in Australia since July 2007. Matthew undertakes routine antenatal and postnatal care and in his practice has particular interest in child health, travel medicine, mental health and other chronic medical conditions. Other areas of interest include occupational health, men's health and aspects of women's health. He is a jovial person, quite dedicated and always aim to achieve the best clinical outcomes for his patients. Away from work, Matthew loves soccer and is a loyal fan of Arsenal Football Club.
