My private practice is based at Glen Iris Private on Warrigal Rd, where I consult and perform gastroscopy and colonoscopy. I hold admission rights at Cabrini Hospital and patients having the option of having their endoscopic procedures performed there. I am a member of the Alfred Hospital Gastroenterology Department senior medical staff and also serve regional Victoria as a visiting Gastroenterologist to Bairnsdale.
I studied Medicine at the University of Queensland, graduating with Honours in 2001. After initially training at the Princess Alexandra Hospital in Brisbane I moved to London, working at the Royal Free and Royal London Hospitals, and then returned to Australia to complete Gastroenterology training at the Alfred and St Vincent’s Hospitals, obtaining an FRACP in 2011.
I have just completed a PhD researching vitamin D status in liver disease through Monash University, but I manage all aspects of Gastroenterology and Hepatology including bowel cancer screening, inflammatory bowel disease and functional bowel disorders.
