Dr Pittappillil is a very valued member of our team who has over 40 years of experience in General Practice. He completed his medical degree and subsequently worked in multiple different community health organisations and hospitals including the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne. He loved working with families and being involved in their care over the long term so he undertook further training to complete his specialisation in General Practice. He holds both the FCGP and FRACGP(Australia).
Over his many years of practice as a Family Physician, Dr Pittappillil has developed many areas of special interest within General Practice such as Men’s Health, Children’s Health including management of allergies and Immunisation. In addition, he enjoys the challenges and rewards of working in partnership with his patients to treat their chronic medical conditions such as diabetes, asthma as well as mental health conditions which require ongoing counselling.
Dr Pittappillil is a very versatile doctor who can speak multiple languages such as English, Malayalam, Kannada, Hindi and Tamil!
