Dr. Williams graduated from the University of Melbourne with First Class Honours in 1995. He gained post-graduate experience and training in paediatrics, dermatology and skin cancer, general surgery, emergency medicine and internal medicine, along with twelve months in obstetrics and gynaecology, obtaining the Diploma in O&G. After further training in general practice, he was granted Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2001, achieving second place in Victoria in the College examinations. He then consulted for twelve years as a GP in two large medical centres in Hampton and Elwood, teaching trainee specialist GPs and medical students, while also delivering babies at Sandringham Hospital, where he served as Head of GP Obstetrics. As of 2013, Martin is the Practice Principal at Prahran East Medical Centre. Here he offers all aspects of General Practice health care, with particular expertise in paediatrics, mole checks, general dermatology and skin cancer, women's health (including shared antenatal care and insertion of Implanon and IUD's including Mirena), mental health, internal medicine, emergencies, trauma and minor surgery. doctors
