Mark Vucak has been specialising in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery for the past eighteen years. His busy specialist practice in Townsville services the North Queensland Area from Townsville, Rockhampton, Mackay and Mount Isa.

Dr Vucak completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery at the University of Western Australia in 1982. He went on to do a post graduate fellowship in Atlanta, Georgia, USA. He maintains regular contact with his surgical peers and attends meetings across the world, keeping up to date with new advances in his field on an annual basis. He is a member of several professional organisations such as The Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, The Royal Australasian College of Aesthetic Surgeons, and The Australasian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons.
Breast and Facial surgery is Dr Vucak's specialised area of interest, but he also performs many body sculpting procedures such as abdominoplasty, liposuction and bodylifts.
Breast Augmentation would be, by far, the most popular procedure Dr Vucak performs. Having completed over 4000 Augmentations since starting his practice, he has the experience and knowledge to produce a safe, reliable and attractive result for the women who attend his clinic for surgery.
Dr Vucak's philosophy is to provide as much information to his patients as possible prior to surgery to ensure they understand the procedure and associated risks and are realistic about the outcome they will achieve. He employs a team of professional Consultants, Nurses, Skin Technicians and Administrative Staff to provide his patients with a complete overview of what to expect with their surgery from pre-operative preparation, to the actual surgery / hospital experience and the most important, post-operative recovery phase.
