Mark is the Director of Invasive Cardiac Services at Austin Health. He trained in Melbourne and then at Royal Perth Hospital before working at the Cleveland Clinic, USA, performing basic research and advanced coronary and non-coronary interventions. After working as an Interventional Cardiologist at Concord and Royal Prince Alfred Hospitals he returned to Melbourne in 1997. Mark performs a comprehensive range of percutaneous interventions including coronary angioplasty, valvuloplasty and device closure. His research interests are in coronary angioplasty and the management of acute coronary syndromes.
