Dr Marianne Mortimore is the Director of Gastroenterology at Mater Hospital Brisbane and is delighted to be commencing Private Practice with BRIDGES Health Services at the Mater Medical centre and Mater Private Hospital in 2019. Her clinical expertise includes caring for young adults and adults with inflammatory bowel diseases, functional gastrointestinal disorders and gastrointestinal endoscopy including bowel cancer screening and polypectomy. Her advanced training included a Master of Medical Science at the QIMR, core gastroenterology training at the Royal Brisbane Hospital and as a specialist with Colorectal Diagnostics between 2001 and 2007 where she gained expertise in the investigation and management of pelvic floor disorders. She has worked at Mater Hospital Brisbane since 2007 in all aspects of gastroenterology and has been involved in medical education as senior lecturer with the University of Queensland and as a college supervisor for advanced training for the Royal Australasian College of Physicians.

Dr Mortimore is looking forward to assisting patients with gastrointestinal disorders to understand their condition and to feel well again. She works with an experienced network of allied health practitioners to provide a range of therapeutic options.
