Dr Clarkson trained at Liverpool University in England before undertaking additional tarining in General Practice, qualifying as a GP in 1989. I moved to Australia in 1998 and worked in Townsville, Magnetic Island, Malanda and Ravenshoe before moving to Cairns seven years ago. I enjoy all aspects of general practice, but am particularly interested in women’s heath, antenatal care, mental health, and preventative medicine for chronic conditions such as heart disease and osteoporosis.
