Dr Margaret Tam graduated from the University of New South Wales with First Class Honours and the University Medal in 1984 and received her medical residency and dermatology training from Prince of Wales Hospital, Royal North Shore Hospital, St Vincent’s Hospital and the Skin and Cancer Foundation.
In 1991 Dr Tam became a Fellow of the Australasian College of Dermatologist and has since worked in private practices in Sydney, Wollongong and Coffs Harbour and currently works in several locations in Sydney. She speaks fluent Cantonese and Mandarin and is a life member of the Australian Chinese Medical Association.
Dr Tam has a special interest in skin diseases among Asian and other ethnic communities and paediatric dermatology.
