Dr Marea McMahon is a graduate from the University of Queensland in 1976. Marea began her medical career at Ipswich General hospital and then the Mater Hospital in Brisbane before marrying and moving to Canberra in 1978. After 3 years in Canberra Marea relocated back to Brisbane in 1981 and began working in general practice. In 1987 Marea joined her father’s practice and has continued the family tradition in providing quality health care to the northern suburbs of Brisbane at Kedron Wavell Medical Centre. Areas of interest for Marea include complex medical care, counselling and women’s health.
