Marcus is a General Practioner specialising in Personalised Medicine and individualised treatment protocols. He utilises a holistic approach incorporating western medical, nutritional/environmental and integrative principles. He graduated from UNSW in 1998 with a Bachelor of Medicine/Surgery and Bachelor of Medical Science. After two years in the public system he traveled extensively. On his return he spent six years working in rural Australia in a variety of locum registrar positions including emergency medicine, general medicine, and cardiology. During a stint with the Royal Flying Doctor Service he was introduced to rural general practice. He relocated to Byron Bay, attaining Fellowship (RACGP) in 2009. In 2011 his own illness experience led him deep into the world of Functional Medicine. He now combines comprehensive patient assessment with functional pathology testing to find and address the root cause of disease.
