Dr Marcelle has been working as a General Practitioner on the Sunshine Coast since 2008.
Her General Practitioner training was completed in the Netherlands in 2001. In 2008 Marcelle moved to Australia with her husband and three children and settled in Coolum Beach where she worked as a GP for 13 years before moving to Aura.
Dr Marcelle is passionate about all areas of General Practice and enjoys the variety of work, close contact with patients and their families for continuity of care.
Having competed a Skin Cancer Certificate, she is available for skin checks and minor skin excisions. She is also a preferred provider for shared Antenatal Care and is experienced in inserting Contraceptive devices like Mirena and Implanon.
Due to her role at the Sunshine Coast University Hospital, she is especially skilled in breast cancer follow- up and breast lesions. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, enjoys being active outdoors and indoors and playing violin and singing.
Dr Marcelle is available for appointments Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and welcomes new and existing patients!
