Dr Marcel Knesl is a consultant Radiation Oncologist at Radiation Oncology Centres (ROC), Maroochydore.
After completing an undergraduate medical degree (MBChB) at Witwatersrand University in Johannesburg, South Africa, Dr Knesl moved to Auckland, New Zealand where he trained in radiation oncology at Auckland Hospital. During this time Dr Knesl became a fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
Dr Knesl began practicing radiation oncology on the Sunshine Coast in 2006 as well as holding academic appointments with the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists including Part 1 Examiner in radiation oncology. More recently Marcel completed the Graduate Diploma of Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Dr Knesl’s special interests include breast, gastrointestinal, genitourinary, and lymphoma malignancies.
