Dr Madhuri is a female GP who has recently turned her focus to General Practice, joining Top End Medical Centre in Stuart Park in May 2017. After serving 16 years as a doctor at Portland District Health, Victoria, Dr Madhuri relocated to Darwin in January 2017, seeking a position which allowed her to deliver continuity of care, and a holistic approach to family medicine, something which was lacking in the Australian Public Hospital System. Dr Madhuri completed her residency at the Colombo South Teaching Hospital, in her native country of Sri Lanka. Dr Madhuri speaks English and Sinhalese, and welcomes all patients, providing comprehensive care to individuals and the broader Darwin community. Dr Madhuri has a special interest in Emergency Medicine and Paediatrics, and is currently pursuing her Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners.
