Dr Malcolm Barnes has been a Director at the Digestive Health Centre http://www.digestivehealth.com.au/ since 2008 and is board certified in all aspects of Gastroscopy, Colonoscopy and ERCP.
With a special interest and additional training in Interventional Endoscopic procedures such as removal of large colonic polyps, Malcolm is highly qualified to provide full service, quality endoscopic services for both Public and Private patients. His other interests include Bowel cancer screening, IBS, IBD and quality control /assessment of endoscopy.
Malcolm is a Consultant Gastroenterologist at Monash Health, with a weekly endoscopy list at Monash in addition to Ward Service and On Call responsibilities.

Malcolm is married to Jane and they have 3 boys of 10 and under! He loves travelling with the family and Sports of all description including triathlons in summer and being Assistant coach for the under 9’s football in winter. Additionally, the 4 “boys” support the Mighty Hawks!
