Majeed graduated from the University of Cape Town in 1970 and spent time working as a Registrar in Accident and Emergency before emigrating to Sydney. He joined general practice in Sutherland in 1975. He obtained a Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from Monash University in 1991 and has special interests in Muscular Skeletal Medicine and Mental Health.
Majeed has obtained advanced training in Focussed Psychological Strategies.
He loves all forms of sport, although his pet hate is golf!!.
