Dr Mahendra Gangaram worked in tertiary hospitals in South Africa for 10 years following his graduation from the University of Mangalore, India in 1986. He continued on to specialise in obstetrics and gynaecology before moving to Australia in 2001 with a young family, following his dream of living in the lucky country. He has been working as a GP since coming to Australia and has a special interest in cardiovascular and emergency medicine. His interests further include men's health, skin and cosmetic conditions and travel medicine.
