Magdalena Simonis is a GP with interests in community health, chronic disease prevention, women’s health, men's health and practices shared antenatal care. She is an examiner with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners, teaches University of Melbourne Medical Students and is on the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners Expert Committee for Quality Care. Magdalena is Honorary Research Fellow with the department of General Practice at the University of Melbourne, and has spearheaded research that has been published achieving international recognition. She is on the board of Women’s Health Victoria, is President of the Victorian Medical Women’s Society, on the strategy and policy committee for Breast Cancer Network Australia and is on the board of National Hearing Heath Advisory board Australia. Her articles are regularly published in Yours magazine, Girlfriend, Women’s Health, Medical Republic and she is has been an RACGP representative to senate enquiries.
