Madeleine completed her medical degree at The University of Notre Dame, Fremantle. She undertook her internship at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital. As a junior doctor she completed rotations in general medicine, orthopaedics, psychiatry, emergency medicine, and paediatrics. She has worked as an infectious diseases registrar and psychiatry registrar. Madeleine decided on a career in general practice as she values the opportunity the specialty offers to develop long term therapeutic relationships with her patients. Prior to working at Mt Hawthorn Family Practice she started her GP training in Mandurah. Madeleine has an interest in child and adolescent health and mental health.
