Dr Lisa Creighton has worked on the Sunshine Coast as a general surgeon with a special interest in oncoplastic breast surgery and endocrine surgery since 2004. She established her practice after completing her advanced training in the United Kingdom.
Dr Creighton's rooms are located at The Sunshine Coast Private Hospital in the Nucleus Medical Suites. The rooms have been purpose-built to facillitate state-of-the-art breast and endocrine assessment and are located adjacent to The Sunshine Coast Breast Clinic (opening early 2015).
Dr Creighton has a specialty interest in breast disease, treating over 100 new breast cancer patients a year. She enjoys the challenge and reward of helping her patients get through this difficult time. She performs her own ultrasound assessment of both breast, thyroid and parathyroid glands, greatly enhancing her understanding of breast and endocrine disease and simplifying patient’s surgical procedures. Breast reduction and reconstructive surgery are also special areas of interest.
