Dr Ling Yan completed her medical degree at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine. A great interest in medical research led her to come to Australia where she completed a Master of Medical Science through the University of Newcastle. Dr Ling worked in the field of cardiac research at the international renowned Heart Research Institute in Sydney for a few years. Later on, Dr Ling worked in John Hunter hospital, Maitland hospital as well as Manning hospital before practicing family medicine and attained to become the Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. Before relocating to Sydney, Dr Ling has been a GP practicing at Narangba of the Moreton Bay Region in Queensland.
Dr Ling enjoys the diversity of general practice and has interests in preventive health, paediatrics, dermatology, women’s health including implant insertion and minor procedures.
Dr Ling speaks English, Mandarin and Shanghainese.
