Dr Linda McKendrick graduated from St Andrews Scotland in 1984, and Manchester University, England 1986. She found obstetrics was her passion and was accepted as a member of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology, London in 1992. She moved to Adelaide in 1993 and gained her Fellowship of the Australian and New Zealand College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in 1996. Most recently she has become a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetrics and Gynaecology in London.

Dr Linda McKendrick has maintained a busy private practice at Ashford Hospital since 1996. She specialises in caring for high risk pregnancies and also works at Flinders Medical Centre where she is in charge of one of the multiple pregnancy clinics. Her position as honorary lecturer at Flinders University involves teaching midwives, medical students and junior doctors.

She lives in the Adelaide hills and has four children, three dogs, two cats and one long-suffering and fortunately very understanding, husband.

Dr Linda McKendrick provides specialised care for high risk women including those who are diabetic, hypertensive, epileptic and whose pregnancies are complicated by intrauterine growth restriction, but still enjoys the satisfaction of a straightforward vaginal delivery.
