Dr Channo has been a Doctor for over 17 years. She worked as in intern at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and trained for 5 years at the Royal Prince Alfred Hospital as a Senior Resident Medical Officer in areas of Cardiology, Haematology, General Medicine and Paediatrics while also conducting research for the Woolcock Institute in Respiratory Medicine in areas of allergy and asthma. She joined General Practice training through the rural pathway in Orange where she took special skills training in Paediatrics at Orange Base Hospital which she thoroughly enjoyed. She completed her General Practice training in 2010 and obtained her fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She relocated to Sydney with her family in 2012 where she has been practicing in the North Shore area since. She also holds a certificate of sexual health and family planning. Dr. Channo is very caring and thorough in her approach and has a special interest in Paediatrics, Women’s health, Mental health, General Medicine and Preventative Health. She also performs minor procedures including contraceptive implant insertion and removal.
