Please note Leonie is currently on maternity leave, and hopes to return to the practice in late 2018/early 2019. Leonie graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2010, then completed her internship and junior doctor years at St Vincent’s Hospital before working in the western suburbs to gain more experience in paediatrics, obstetrics and gynaecology. After completing her GP training locally, Léonie undertook a Diploma in Child Health. She enjoys the variety of work that general practice entails, and particularly loves getting to know the family background and social context of her patients to ensure she can provide relevant and focused medical care. Léonie’s areas of interest include women’s health, paediatrics and sexual health. She has also spent time working within the refugee health sector. Outside of work, Leonie is an avid plant enthusiast and container gardener, she loves to stay active and can also be found keeping her local cafe’s in business!
