Dr Leo Rando is a Consultant Endocrinologist who graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1997 (MBBS) and completed specialist training at the Royal Melbourne and Box Hill Hospitals in 2004 (FRACP). Subsequently he has been involved in diabetic vascular disease research across the Royal Melbourne and St Vincent’s Hospitals and co-investigated multi-centre clinical trials. He has also had an interest in education, having filled the roles of Clinical Sub-Dean and Director of Physician Training at various Melbourne hospitals.
His current focus is on clinical practice, striving to provide optimal compassionate care to all his patients. He is experienced in managing all general endocrinology conditions including diabetes, thyroid, pituitary, adrenal, gonadal, bone and mineral disorders. He is a current member of the Australian Diabetes Society and the Endocrine Society of Australia and keeps his medical knowledge up to date by regularly attending both national and international conferences and educational meetings.
