Dr Lena Ly is passionate about Dermatology. Completing her medical degree at Melbourne University, Dr Ly was accepted into the Victorian Dermatology Faculty as a trainee in 2011 and was selected to further train at highly acclaimed St Georges Hospital in London. Highly qualified, with Bachelor degrees in Medicine, Medical Science and Surgery and a Masters in Philosophy (Melanoma) and Diploma of Surgical Anatomy, she has also trained and worked in all the major Victorian hospitals and is now a consultant dermatologist at Monash Medical Centre and Box Hill Hospital where she also teaches.
Dr Ly specialises in adult and paediatric eczema, psoriasis, hair, nail, and sweating disorders and contact allergy. She also has a strong interest in skin cancer and has undertaken numerous research projects within the dermatological field. Dr Ly believes a patient-centred approach is the key to achieving better skin outcomes.
