Leila started her medical career in Australia in 2008 within Melbourne Health. She spent most of her training in Cardiology, Plastic surgery and worked as a Neurosurgery, Emergency and Trauma registrar at the Royal Melbourne Hospital. She has always had a special interest in preventative Medicine and primary health care, which lead Leila to choose General Practice as a career. In 2013 she started working as a GP in Bacchus Marsh, Victoria. During that time she realized that she particularly enjoyed women's, children and elderly health.
