Dr Leighton Wong graduated from the University of Adelaide in 2010. He has worked in a variety of places around Australia including Adelaide, Sydney and the NSW Central Coast. As a junior doctor, he worked as a physician trainee before going on to complete general practice training, obtaining his fellowship with the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in early 2017. His special interests include chronic disease management, mental health, travel medicine and procedural medicine. He is trained to perform Implanon insertion and removal, skin excisions and toe nail resections. When not at work, he can be found planning his next bizarre travel destination or attempting to learn a new language.
