Leesa started MP Sports Physicians on moving back to the Mornington Peninsula in 2004.
During her years of specialist training and subsequent to this, she has developed particular interests in gymnastics, netball and Australian Rules Football. She also has a special interest in adolescent and paediatric sports medicine and female athletes and the issues particular to them. Other areas of particular interest include medical conditions and exercise, tendon pathology, bone health/ stress fractures and exercise related lower leg pain.
Her elite athlete experience includes an AIS fellowship, several years with the Melbourne Demons Football Club and several years as the Australian Netball 21/U team physician. She has worked at the Olympic games in the field of Gymnastics and travelled as team physician to the World University Games. Leesa has also served as the Chief Medical Officer for Netball Australia.
