Dr Brown graduated with Honors from the University of Queensland in 1988, having completed a Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery (MBBS). He spent seven years in hospital and general surgery training around Australia before commencing four years of plastic and reconstructive surgery training. Dr Brown established Coastal Plastic Surgery (CPS) on the Sunshine Coast in 1999. His current practice is co-located with the Kawana Private Hospital, which he played a role in planning and developing. This has allowed the seamless care for all patients, ranging from those undergoing beauty treatments right through patients having major cosmetic or reconstructive surgery. Dr Brown and his team are always onsite allowing a more personalised service and complete patient satisfaction with regards to privacy, safety, comfort and results.
Dr Brown is a member of the Australian Society of Plastic Surgeons, the Australian Society of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons and the Australian Medical Association. He is also a Member of the American Society of Plastic Surgeons. His main areas of practice are Plastic and Recontructive surgery involving Cosmetic surgery and removal and reconstruction after skin cancer surgery.
