Leanne graduated from Monash University in 2011 and spent her Internship and Residency years working in Medical and Surgical units at The Royal Melbourne Hospital. This experience made her realise she enjoyed all aspects of medicine and that she wanted to be a generalist. She went on to do GP locuming in rural Victoria which affirmed to her that General Practice was a perfect fit! She believes in holistic healthcare and engaging patient involvement in their wellness journey. Leanne enjoys all aspect of medicine with interests in sexual and reproductive health, chronic disease management, women’s health, preventative health and minor surgical procedures. She has obtained a National Certificate for Sexual and Reproductive Health from Family Planning Victoria and is an accredited Implanon and IUD fitter. Outside the clinic, Leanne is a freelance graphic designer and doctor’s health advocate. You may likely find her drinking hot chocolate at a café, checking out the new exhibition at a museum, behind the lens of an analogue camera or dreaming of her next travel destination.
