Dr Chan studied medicine at the University of New South Wales and graduated in 2008 with First Class Honours. He worked for 3 years at Bankstown-Lidcombe, Campbelltown and Camden Hospitals. He then volunteered for 6 months as medical officer for a small hospital in rural Uganda.
Dr Chan worked as a rural GP in Moree and then in Abbotsford before joining Northbridge Medical Practice in 2013. He was awarded Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2014, and he attained his Diploma in Child Health in 2015. He has particular interest in paediatrics, mental health and travel medicine. Dr Chan is an accreditated practitioner with The Royal North Shore Hospital Antenatal Shared Care program. He enjoys football, scuba diving, hiking and travel.
