Dr Lauren Healy is a warm and caring GP who enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly women’s and children’s health and sexual health.
She completed her medical degree at Monash University in 2015, previously completing a Bachelor of Science at The University of Melbourne in 2010. Since graduating she has worked for the Eastern Health Network in a variety of areas before moving into General Practice.
Lauren specialises in pre-conception care, family planning, contraception and post-natal care. She is particularly passionate about supporting women and children through the newborn period.
She completed the Sydney Children’s Health Program through Sydney Children’s Hospital in 2018 and is qualified to insert implanons.
Lauren works closely with local dietitians and psychologists in the care of Eating Disorder patients and is registered with the Butterfly Foundation. She also has an interest in sexual health and is a prescriber of PrEP.
