Dr Laura Jones (GP)

Dr Laura Jones graduated from the University of Leeds UK in 2003. She then trained as a hospital general physician in Yorkshire and completed her membership of the Royal College of Physicians. In 2006 she decided that she valued the long term therapeutic relationship approach of general practice and completed training for membership of the Royal College of General Practitioners. During this training she moved to the Highlands of Scotland and then worked as a general practitioner and also an emergency general practitioner with a community hospital. In 2016 she made the move, with her family, to Melbourne. She has extensive experience in community palliative care and dementia care from the UK. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Obstetrics and Gynaecology and way back in the past completed a masters degree in Anthropology.
