Dr Laura Chapman is a UK trained General Practitioner with 13 years of clinical experience. She graduated from Warwick University in 2004 and gained extensive hospital experience prior to sitting her GP specialist exams in 2008.

Laura moved to Australia in 2009. Laura’s main area of interest is Women’s Health. She has worked at the Royal Women’s Hospital emergency department and Sunshine Hospital urogynae department. Laura has been practising within the western suburbs of Melbourne for six years and is passionate about providing care within this region.

Laura has specialist skills in the following areas:

  • Implanon insertion and removal
  • Shared maternity care provision
  • Management of unplanned pregnancy
  • Management of pelvic organ prolapse, incontinence and other pelvic floor concerns

Laura contributes to medical education and is involved in medical student training. She is motivated to discover patients’ health priorities to supports them in reaching their goals.
