Dr Nancy Yiin grew up in Taiwan before moving to New Zealand where she completed her schooling. She graduated from The University of New South Wales in 2007 and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has previously worked in different urban and rural hospitals and general practices in NSW for quite a number of years. She moved to Perth in 2019.
Dr Yiin is a general practitioner who enjoys all aspects of family medicine. She has a special interest in women’s health, antenatal (pregnancy) shared care, family planning, sexual health and pediatrics. She enjoys getting to know the whole family and watching them grow.
She has attained a Certificate in Women’s Health with RANZCOG and Family Planning NSW. She is able to perform on-site procedures such as Implanon insertion & removal, Mirena removal and minor skin procedures. She is currently undertaking a lactation course with Australasian Lactation Course and is planning to sit the exam to become an accredited lactation consultant to provide more support to new mothers.
Dr Yiin is fluent in both English and Mandarin. When she is not at work she is a busy mom enjoying spending time with her energetic young boy.
