Kush gained his dental degree in 1997, before working for 2 years as a dental house surgeon in Christchurch, New Zealand. It was here and then in Cardiff, Wales, that he developed an interest in Oral and Maxillofacial surgery. Kush returned to Dunedin, New Zealand and gained his medical degree and Masters degree in 2007.
Kush completed his Oral and Maxillofacial surgical training in 2013 (FRACDS OMS), and has since completed a Fellowship at the Royal Children’s Hospital in Melbourne (2013) and also the “Gillies-Cairns” Trauma Fellowship at the Royal London Hospital in the (UK 2014/15).
Kush has worked extensively in a variety of hospitals in New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Australia.
In his time off he enjoys playing tennis, snowboarding and keeping fit at the gym.
