Dr Tippur practices all aspects of pain medicine, which includes acute pain, chronic pain, cancer pain and interventional pain medicine. His special interests include chronic spinal pain, neuropathic pain and neuromodulation in pain management. He is also a strong believer in the bio-psycho-social approach to pain management in a multidisciplinary setting. He works with a team of Physiotherapists, Clinical Psychologists, Occupational Therapists and Clinical Nurse Practitioners.

Originally from India, Dr Tippur completed his medical training before moving to the United Kingdom where he completed specialist training in Pain Medicine and Anaesthesia at the prestigious Glasgow and West of Scotland School of Anaesthesia. He was working as a consultant in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine at Colchester University Hospital, Essex in the UK before moving to Australia to pursue a Pain Fellowship. He completed Pain Fellowship at the Alfred hospital and the Barwon Health Services and gained further experience in cancer pain management at the Peter MacCallum Institute. He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Pain Medicine from the University of Leicester, UK.

He offers consultations for patients suffering from acute pain, chronic pain, and admit patients for advanced pain treatments. He also works as at SJOG hospital and Ballarat Health Services as a specialist in Anaesthesia and Pain Medicine.

Nerve Blocks such as selective nerve root blocks (TFE), epidural and caudal injections, coeliac plexus blocks and sympathetic blocks. Joint Injections including: SI joint and facet joint injections for back pain. Radiofrequency ablation of nerves.
