Dr Khoi (pronounced “Coy”) has worked in the local area for over 6 years, servicing the community in the after hours clinic and other local practices.
Dr Khoi obtained his medical degrees at the University of Adelaide, simultaneously taking music subjects at the Elder Conservatorium. His subsequent medical experiences included 8 years of specialised training in Cardiac Surgery, and included advanced training at Royal Adelaide Hospital, St. Vincent’s in Sydney, Royal Hobart Hospital, The Austin Hospital, and the Royal Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, undertaken alongside nearly 20 years of post-graduate practical experience.
More recently, Dr Khoi completed a Bachelor of Music degree at the Conservatorium, University of Melbourne, as a specialist in keyboard and performance of early music. In addition to his medical activities, Dr Khoi is the Artistic Director of Ensemble Systolica, a chamber group specialising in Early Music, with Dr Khoi playing harpsichord.
In moving from cardio-thoracic surgery to general practice and aesthetic medicine, Dr Khoi has specialised in skin checks, minor surgical procedures and general health needs.
