Graduated from the University of Sydney in 1991. Her experience in general practice spans 21 years, following her work with the Illawarra Area Health Service until 1995 and completion of a Diploma of Family Medicine in 1997. She has since achieved a fellowship in the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 1998 and a Certificate in Family Planning in 1999, and continues to participate in professional development programmes. Her areas of special interest are women’s health, antenatal shared care and chronic disease management, such as diabetes, cardiovascular disease and asthma.
