Dr Ken Barns is a General Practitioner and Medical Educator. Since graduating from the University of Queensland in 1998, Ken has had extensive further training and experience in emergency medicine, rural general practice, palliative care, and hospital-based general medicine. Most recently, he was Senior Medical Officer and Director of Clinical Training at the Beaudesert Hospital. Ken is passionate about patient education and empowerment, and remains interested in emergency medicine and the ongoing management of severe medical conditions.
