Dr Kellie Mathieson grew up on the Far South Coast, and obtained degrees in Biological Sciences and Medicine from the University of Wollongong. She moved to Mudgee in 2008 as a medical student and has stayed in the Central West ever since, working first at Orange Base Hospital then in obstetrics and gynaecology at Dubbo Base Hospital.
Dr Mathieson has particular interests in adolescent health and women's health.
She currently works part-time, spending the rest of the week as a stay-at-home mum and farmer's wife.
