Dr White is a Canadian GP who came to Australia in 2006 for the adventures of rural general practice in the outback of NSW. In 2009 Katrina volunteered after the Kinglake bushfires and has since relocated to Victoria and enjoyed settling on the Mornington Peninsula with her husband and young family. Katrina has diverse procedural experience and obtained her Diploma in skin cancer surgery in 2009 and continues to work in skin cancer prevention and management. In 2015 Katrina was awarded a Rural GP Award for her ongoing commitment to locum relief work in rural communities. As a GP, Katrina has a special interest in women’s health issues including fertility and contraception choices, and offers IUD and Implanon insertion?removal. Katrina encourages preventative health and wellness through exercise and health lifestyle choices.
