Katrina studied medicine at the University of Adelaide. After graduating in 2010 she moved to North Queensland, living and working in Cairns for two years before commencing GP training in Townsville. Katrina returned home to Adelaide in 2015 to complete her GP training, and attained Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners in 2016. She also has a Diploma of Child Health, and a Master of Public Health and Tropical Medicine from James Cook University. Katrina enjoys all aspects of general practice, particularly women’s and children’s health.

Aside from general practice, Katrina works in international public health, with her main interest being how climate change and other environmental problems affect human health. For the past two years she has worked with the World Health Organization (WHO) in Cambodia, supporting projects designed to address and better understand the health impacts of climate change in that country. She’s also worked on projects for the WHO in Europe, the World Bank Group, and UN Environment.

Katrina joined McIntyre Medical Centre in 2017.
