Dr Katherine grew up in country Victoria before moving to Western Australia to complete her medical degree. During her training, she worked in the Kimberley and South West regions, where she developed a strong interest in Indigenous health and rural medicine.
She returned to Geelong in 2022 and spent two years working at Barwon Health and Hamilton Base Hospital. In 2023, she began her specialty training in rural and remote medicine, spending a year in Far North Queensland providing care in remote and Aboriginal health services.
Dr Katherine is now based in Geelong, continuing her training in General Practice and Emergency Medicine. She has a broad range of clinical interests, including Indigenous health, child health, sports and exercise medicine, and preventive care.
